A significant challenge for this renovation project was that the property is located within a conservation zone. To address this, we carefully designed the extension to comply with council regulations and seamlessly integrate with the existing structure. We represented the clients in submitting a development application to the council, ensuring that the new living area was both legally compliant and harmonious with the original building. This process allowed us to meet modern needs while preserving the architectural integrity of the heritage home.
